5/31/2023 0 Comments Desmume fast forwardgame with only what you really need Fast-forward support: skip cutscenes and. When I push the button I want the music to sound like 1000 bpm mayhem jumbled useless noise. Right now I only keep Desmume around as a backup emulator in case melonDS. When I push the button I want to watch the minutes on the clock go by like seconds, in my tiny Pokemon world. Mupen64 Man Big fan of Mupen64 Staff member 3 Okay, found it out, all you got to do is use the 'TAB' key, you hold it down to speed through stuff. If that isn't the case, I'll test it and post the real key. So my question is either frequently misunderstood. It does, the default speed up button is the key above the 'Enter' key. There's nothing there concerning my question. I already know DeSmuMEs last official update was 0.9.11 from 2015 NoGBA got a new update after years of hiatu (i never liked this emulator) and theres a new called MelonDS, but the compatibility thread on the official forum doesnt have any main line Pokémon game. I did however make the frames skip 900 at a time and made it seem like the game froze, but it just took a long time for frames to switch, well 900 seconds probably)Īnnd by the way. I tried editing the config file, to increase FrameRate, then I realised I was only switching around what buttons triggered what (haha, stupid. Or put one in yourself (probably the best option) ![]() Or fill me in on how to Jimmy one up with what is already in the emulator. Either point me in the right direction of patching in a proper way of making the game run at 500+% Game Speed myself. You guys do indeed have a great emulator. For some reason No$gba won't load it passed the intro though. I imagine itd be implemented like the fast forward button (with the toggle effect). I would really like if there was an option to have the button toggle the effect. I read in a section somewhere that my (our) PC will not do this. 1) Because you must hold down the fast forward button to keep the effect active, playing in fast forward is at times uncomfortable. Please note that, in general, DeSmuME benefits more from few fast CPUs than from many slow CPUs. As it feels like I get 10 degrees warmer trying to train the Pokemon at a snail rate. Configure how many CPU cores the DeSmuME core will use. ![]() I refuse to play this game at 100% speed. But this Hotkey you call FastForward is really. I know a lot of hard work goes into programming these emulators. So that I'm not bouncing off walls and overshooting my entries and exists. Pokemon Red can go too fast for me to handle, so I gotta "Tune the throttle" Haha. Hey I am playing some GB/GBA and NES roms with retroarch I have configured fast forward and fullscreen toggles in 'Input', 'Input Hotkey binds' But in game, toggles dont work. VisualBoy Advance has one too called "Throttle" and it goes by per centages up to 1000% and FPS. They call it "Emulaton Speed, LCD Refresh." There's a setting there called "Unlimited MHz Disaster, 10%" and allows the rom run up to 700% so it's zooming. Soul Silver is not supported? What? DeSuME runs it flawlessly? No$gba only runs it up until you finish typing your name.Īnyways.
